About The Property
The name Castaic originated from the Chumash Native American word Kashtek, meaning "eyes." Castaic is one of those rare cities that promotes "managed growth" while maintaining its natural beauty for residents. Native Americans, specifically the Tataviam, along with Spanish explorers lived, worked and enjoyed the lush green rolling hills and streams in and around Castaic. Paradise Ranch is the living proof of those days. Castaic is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County, California. Located approximately 40 miles (64 km) northwest of the downtown Los Angeles Civic Center, and approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of Santa Clarita.
